（にゅうかんの ほうりつを わるく かえることに はんたいする ための デモの よびかけ）
(A call for a demonstration to oppose the change of the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act)
２０２２年９月４日に ①にゅうかんほうかいあくに はんたい ②ウィシュマさんの ビデオを ぜんぶ 見せることの ２つを もとめて 全国（せんだい、とうきょう、たかさき、なごや、おおさか、きょうと、こうち）で デモ・スタンディングアクションを おこないます。
On September 4, 2022, we call for action (1)against the proposed amendment to the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act, and (2) to demand disclosure of videos depicting Ms. Wishma's treatment leading up to her death.We will perform demonstrations and standing protests throughout Japan (Sapporo, Yamagata, Sendai, Tokyo, Takasaki, Shizuoka, Nagoya, Osaka, Kyoto, and Kochi) for these two demands.

Why a protest now?
２０２１年３月６日に、スリランカ人じょせいの ウィシュマ・サンダマリさんが、なごやにゅうかんで なくなりました。33さい でした。その日から もうすぐ 1年半が たちます。
On March 6th 2021, a Sri-Lanka woman, Ms.Wishma Sandamali, passed away in Nagoya immigration detention center. She was 33 years old. One and a half years will have passed since that day.
なごやにゅうかんや ほかの にゅうかんは、今も 外国人への たいおうが とても ひどい です。
But all the immigration detention centers in Japan keep treating foreigners horribly.
2022年3月には、ウィシュマさんが なくなった じけんの さいばんが はじまりました。あいては 国です。しかし、日本せいふ、ほうむしょう、にゅうかんちょうは、わるかったと みとめません。 ほんとうの ことが うつっている ビデオも だす ひつようが ないと 言っています。にゅうかんは ほんとうの ことを あきらかに しようと しません。にどと おこさない ように する気は まったく ありません。
The trial on the case of the death of Ms. Wishma has started in March 2022, against the government Japan. However, the Japanese government including the Ministry of Justice and its Immigration Services Agency (ISA) have not admited any wrongdoing. They even claim that they do not have to present video recordings, which recorded what happened in the center when Ms. Wishmma died. The ISA is not willing to reveal the truth. They refuse to make any efforts to ensure that such a tragedy never occurs again.
にゅうかんちょうは わるい ほうりつを また 出そうと しています。「そうかんきひしゃ」（全国で やく ３１００人）を 国に かえらせる ためです。ほとんどの 外国人は、国に かえれと 言われたら、自分から かえります。しかし、どうしても 国に かえれない 人が います。なんみんなど、国に かえれなくて、日本で くらしたい人が 「そうかんきひしゃ」なのです。この人たちが にゅうかんに しゅうようされます。かりほうめんに なる人も います。
The government is trying to enact harmful legislation again. They want to send the "Sokan-kihisha" (3,100 people in the whole country) back to their countries. Most foreigners will go home if they are told to. However, some just cannot. This is because they are effectively refugees or have some other reasons to stay in Japan. Some of them may be detained in immigration detention center and others are on provisional release.
2021年5月には、入管の わるい ほうりつは だめになりました。みんなが はんたい したからです。その わるい ほうりつは、なんみんしんせいを している人でも、国に むりやり かえらせる ことが できます。ばつを うけさせる ことが できます。いつでも しゅうよう できます。かえれない 人を はんざいしゃのように 見ます。ほうりつを わるく かえても、かえれない 人は ずっと かえれません。
In May 2021, an initial attempt to change the law for the worst was abandoned. That is because many people were against it. This bad law can force anyone, even those who are applying for refugee status, to leave the country. It can punish and detain Sokan-kihisha at any time. It treats them as if they were criminals. However, these people cannot go home even if the law is changed.
ウィシュマさんが なぜ なくなったのか。人が にゅうかんで しゅうよう中に なくなっても、にゅうかんは せきにんを みとめません。このまま、もっと にゅうかんの 力を 大きくしては いけません！にゅうかんほうを わるく かえては いけません！にゅうかんは、外国人を さべつして、いじめてきました。私たちは、日本社会の いちいんです。さべつを 見すごしてきた ことを きちんと うけとめます。そして、にゅうかんで ぎせいになる 人を もう 出さないため、にゅうかんほう かいあくあんを また 出すことに はんたいする デモを ９月４日に ぜんこくで おこないます。
Why did Ms. Wishma die? The ISA does not accept any responsibility, even for people who die while in detention. We cannot allow such an ISA to become any more powerful than they already are. We cannot allow the harmful amendments to immigration law to be passed! ISA routinely brutalizes and discriminates against foreing nationals in Japan. We are part of Japanese society and must accept our role in turning a blind eye to such blatant discrimination until now. We will demonstrate all across Japan, to voice our opposition to the ill intentioned amendments to the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act, in an effort to prevent any more tragedies from ever occurring again.
